Today I had the cutest little family stop in with a last-minute engraving project for her husband’s birthday. I know how special it feels to give something personalized, so I always try to make the process as easy as possible for my customers.
While Mom and I worked out the details, I turned on The Lion King to keep her kiddo entertained—because sometimes you just need Simba to save the day. 🦁✨
She brought in a couple of YETIs for me to engrave (yes, I have tumblers on hand, but I’m also happy to work with what people bring me). In about 20 minutes, the two cups were engraved, wrapped in a cute gift bag with tissue paper, and ready to go.
She left with the perfect personalized birthday gift. For her, it was a quick and easy win. For me, it was a win-win: I got to make someone’s day a little brighter and finish my afternoon with the best company—Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa.
It’s days like this that remind me why I love what I do. 💛
